Two Year Diploma Course
This is a two year intensive introductory course on the principles, art and science of homeopathy. The prerequisites of anatomy, physiology and pathology will be emphasized in the first year, with emphasis on homeopathy throughout the two years.

Eligibility
Candidates are required to send curriculum vitae, letters of reference and experience. Candidates may be subject to an interview by the Education Committee. However all applicants will be evaluated on the basis of individual merit.

Course Content
The students must study and pass the following compulsory modules. History of Homeopathy including the life and works of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.

GENERAL SUBJECTS

THE HUMAN IN HEALTH - Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry, Biophysics, Psychology, First Aid & CPR
THE HUMAN IN DISEASE - Pathology, micro-organism, parasites, viruses and other stimuli
Homeopathic Pharmacodynamics
Organon of Medicine
Homeopathic Repertorisation
Pathology
Preventative and Social Medicine?
Nutrition and Clinical dietetics
Medical Jurisprudence and Toxicology
Gynaecology and Obstetrics
Surgery

Method of Teaching
Regular tutorials are arranged throughout each course to enable students to exchange views with the college staff and for remedial instruction. Clinical training will be scheduled throughout the second year of the course of study under the supervision of qualified homeopaths. It involves training in case taking, clinical studies and prescribing. The quantity will be commensurable with student's performance as specified by the Education Committee.

Awards
Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded the Diploma in Homeopathy of The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy - D Hom.

One Year Advanced Diploma Course
This one-year intensive course is for Qualified Healthcare Practitioners only. The practitioners will forego the science portion of the two-year diploma course and concentrate heavily upon the practice of homeopathy and how it can be used as a powerful adjunct to their current practice.

Eligibility
Practitioners in the following disciplines are eligible:

Medicine, Acupuncture, Spygeric Homeopathy (Electro-Homeopathy), Pharmacy, Chiropractic, Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Veterinary, Dentistry, Naturopathy, Radionics, Osteopathy, Massage therapy, Heilpraktiker’s and experienced practitioners interested in learning homeopathy.

PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The College offers a Post Graduate Course of one year duration, leading to award of the Post Graduation in Homeopathy - PG Hom. London

Eligibility
The general entry requirements for the course are:

BHMS (5½ year course) with one year compulsory internship.
DHMS (4½ year course) with good clinical experience or 2 years postgraduate education.
B.Sc. in Homeopathic medicine or other related subjects.
English language qualification is required if it is not the native language.

Candidates applying for the Post Graduate Course must have a Diploma or Degree from a recognised school of homeopathy.

Course Layout
Course is divided into three Intensive Modules:

i) THEORETICAL (Full time 250 hours)
ii) CLINICAL (Full time 500 Hours)
iii) THESIS/DISSERTATION (Projects, must be completed within 6 months)

*Practitioners who have been in practice for more than 3 years may claim for credit transfer for theoretical & clinical module and can complete theoretical studies in two / three months.

**Homeopaths qualified with up to 3 years clinical practice have mandatory requirement to complete all three modules.

Homeopathy Materia Medica Including Applied Aspects
Advanced and comparative M.M, Practice of Homeopathy in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Reperatory
Advanced Case taking, repertories & repertorization, computerised repertorisation

Practice of Medicine
General medicine and practice of Homeopathy in General medicine including tropical medicine, Diagnosis and miasmatic approach to medicine

Method of Teaching

Clinical Experience
Students will gain requisite clinical experience through observation and case analysis.

Individual Projects
Every student will be assigned a project which should be completed three months before the end of the course. Each student must also present a short oral dissertation on the subject of his or her thesis.

Award
Upon completion of the Postgraduate Examination and submission of thesis students will be awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Homeopathy PG Hom. London by the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy.
